This morning I received an email from an "Amanda J" . a.k.a "Amanda Anonymous" claiming that she is a work at home mom and she makes lots of money by posting links to Google!!!
" Hello,
I made $1131 this week working from home for google. I cant believe how easy this is. I\'m recommending this to everyone, check out this guys google blog http://www.startmakinginternetmoney.com
Thank you!
- Amanda J."
I immediately saw the SCAM in this email. First, you can NOT make money by posting links to google! Google accepts ONLY organic links ,which are links that search engines find on line , & Adwords ,which are paid links by advertisers.
However, this email caught my eye because she touted how she made $1131 this week working from home for google . So I clicked on the link she gave me and it was a story about a young guy called Kevin Hoeffer. I read his blog that was so fishy! His blog had also many comments from various commenters saying how true is this "Google System". I noticed though, that all the comments were made at the same day with only few minutes difference to each other :-) How obvious it was that all those comments were written by the blog's author himself!!!
Also, there was no way to post my own feedback because the comments were closed due to spam reasons. I even searched for a contact form, telephone or email but there was nothing . So, big red flags !!! Here is the link to this fake blog: http://www.startmakinginternetmoney.com .
I googled the name of this guy , Kevin Hoeffer. and I found that he appears on many websites, each telling a variation of a get-rich story. All these websites, use a very similar appearance, layout & stories that promote similar products as well as same pictures of Google Checks as proof of income yet conveniently all of the Pay To The Order of names were blacked out. Also, the comments on each of these websites are the same, same photos of commenders and ofcourse the feedback form inactive due to spam reasons :-)
Please beware of this work at home scam. This scam opportunity asks you to pay only $1.99 but they actually get access in credit cards and they can even charge you the amounts of $100 or 200 without your knowledge!
